That said, #MBTL has a couple of baffling yet stereotypical issues.

1: It's locked to 720p on PC. You can set the resolution in the menu but all it does is stretch the image - Even the UI. Everything still gets rendered in 1280x720

2: A recent patch added the ability to remap or disable the auto-combo system ("Rapid Beat"); It's a new menu on the character select screen. Except they forgot?? to add it to the single player modes

**Edit** Scratch #2 - The option appears alongside color select.

I picked up Melty Blood: Type Lumina yesterday. I'm enjoying it. Low skill floor, but the crazy pace of the game means the ceiling is probably pretty high.

One of my few criticisms of #GGST is that it's really lackluster for offline single player content; Most notably the lack of an explicit difficulty select for any of the modes. #MBTL gets that part right.

Give me ways to play offline when I don't have spoons to face real people, and let me select my own difficulty. It's not that hard.

I would love either of these two as a guest character in Guilty Gear Strive.
