Method notes:
1. Sample thousands of random square crops from an image into a "memory" matrix
2. Draw on canvas by randomly selecting any square area from the original image, then compute the pixel-wise cosine similarity to all samples in memory.
3. Choose one of the similar (but different) sample images and put it on the canvas in the location where the random selection came from.
4. Repeat thousands of times.

#Weather in #Arizona looks perfect for the #transit night ... but the #KittPeak #observatory was hit by a serious #contreras #fire in June and the #telescope is down since then. Fortunately, the #firefighters saved the observatory and the staff are working hard. The instrument is expected to be back on sky on Nov. 11, hence ONE DAY before the transit. We still don't know what will be the instrumental stability. #AstronomerLife
