RED NET.
Let's just start here with a picture of what I do... I look for new ways to assemble building blocks, and then I make porous materials (3D molecules let's say) with the same topology... They can store or separate other molecules, and much more.

Here we are, preparing for the potential doom of twitter. Anyway, here's my #introduction.
I'm a #chemist at Swansea University looking at #MOFs and other #porousmaterials for #CCSU. For my PhD I looked at both Zr-Phosphonate MOFs and phosphonate linker synthesis, as well as the crystallisation kinetics of Ce-MOFs.
Beyond academia, I'm often found out on the paddleboard, playing the guitar, reading, or (most importantly) spending quality time with my son. Tea is my fuel. Fan of the pub.

Ok, I'm now following both #MOFs and #MOFiverse - I hope people use the latter 😆
