Used @craigmaloney 's Mindfulness, the Game to help with a blog post that's been languishing

I've not had trouble writing for the blog post, creating content was easy. But, it was meandering like a Tolkien road trip that has too many New Zealand tourism board scenery shots

Using the game I forced myself to follow an unchosen direction. The result was a tighter, more coherent text

Still more work on the post, but I like tonight's progress

Yes I'm trying to get my index of #MtG cards to be in the same order that the collection is in, and I'm not willing to reorder it to a broken order.

@brion I tend to use MtG most of the time, but will read MTG as someone being lazy with their shift key before thinking about US idiots.

I see many complaining that the #mtg tag is too poluted with #USPol, but on both instances I frequent it still gets more tcg action than pol.

Also, aside from those 3 #MTG boxes in the upper right, the backpack on the side and the white box on the bottom left are full of Magic cards, as is the box in the lower middle conveniently marked "Magic: The Gathering". 🤣

I can't recall if I posted this picture before and I'm too lazy to look, so apologies for the repost. If anyone's wondering what #boardgames I play, here's most of them (minus a couple Gloomhaven expansions that I got after this pic was taken.

I work in #devops by day, and love working with Linux, postgreSQL and open things like that. I live in #Portland Oregon, though that may change sooner rather than later. I love it here, but I have to go to the #Detroit area, where my family is.

I like collecting #shinyrocks and am in the #buddhist and/or #taoist and/or #esoteric way

Why aren't there more #mtg compatible products being created?

Is it just that people wont buy them?

(Like complete sets intended to be drafted, commander decks featuring 100% original cards (you'd probably get away with including basic lands that are just full art, zero border, no name printed on them, but even putting 'Forest' on a card would probably be legal).)

3 years ago I sold everything over $200 to help our home deposit.

I wasn't expecting things to have 5+x in that time.
