So I built a wee #MTGA historic deck. It is simple. It pretends to be elf ball and then when you're not looking shoots you in the face with a Goblin Charbelcher.

It's kinda fun in a dumb kind of way.

Managed to play a couple of games of explorer this weekend and try out the new anthology. Obviously felt obliged to try Nykthos MonoG.

I know the deck has been around in pioneer but I never saw for myself just how silly it is. Never played something so reliably ridiculous like this!

Finding my feet with the monoB list I saw people playing. I got destroyed by a reanimated phyrexian portal a few times, I think the meta will punish this list but doesn’t feel that common yet. I think I’ll be able to ride this up to diamond. #mtga #magicthegathering
