@smallsco Using IsoPropA and DeoxIT is the required 1st step for a floppy drive maintenance clean, after that you’‘d need to lubricate the moving parts of the eject mechanisms again.
I’m using sewing machine oil for this. A tiny drop on a plate next to the machine, then take up some very small amount with a very small screwdriver, and distribute it with the screwdriver on the moving parts. After 2-3 iterations your eject will work smoothly.
Enjoy your now booting SE in all its glory! #mac68k

Prototype of a MicroSD extension holder for the #Macintosh #LCII & #LCIII.
Made with #OpenSCAD of course.
Disregard the color, I need to get the proper RAL filament.

@gunstick @Seg @DosFox I have it here – it emulates “only” a 64 KB ROM Mac, though (Mac 128k, 512k), so it’s mostly meant to be used until System 4 or something. But still, you can run …
• ThinkPascal and its excellent source level debugger,
• Canvas 2 and its superb vector graphics
• RagTime 1 or 2, a combined Office suite
• Word 3
• WriteNow 2 for rock stable text processing
on an Atari ST, a bit faster than the Mac, and lots more pixels with its 640×400px in 71 Hz.
