Hey #MadTwitter Prof Rob Howard old age psychiatrist has been liking and RTing transphobic content by the likes of Gl1nner. I wouldn’t have known from his timeline since I’ve blocked these accounts. I wasn’t following anyway but I do wanna warn people who might wish to disengage.

Everyday I’m seeing some high profile members of #MadTwitter abuse from accounts that are fairly new and clearly full of bigotry it feels very unsafe on Twitter and social media in general if you’re not a white cis het man

I realise I’ve been on #mastodon for about a week and still haven’t done an #introduction. I’m Amy, I used to be on #madtwitter but am now on #madmastodon. I have hEDS, ADHD, and C-PTSD among other things. I was misdiagnosed with BPD in 2016 on the grounds that I was AFAB, identified as bi (I’m probably more lesbian to be honest!) and survived a trauma. I’ve had a lot of therapy and am now doing a psychology undergraduate with the aim of doing #DClinPsy in a few years time!

@purplepadma Oh, #MadTwitter is an established group? I thought first you used that as an informal name for your friends in Twitter.
