I *think* at some point in time I had an #Orkut account... Incessantly playing #Farmville and #MafiaWars with friends both traumatized me and hooked me on #Facebook. But I fell in love with #microblogging because it was weirdly cool to announce yourself in third person to people you barely knew: "has finished an excellent book." "is watching a dull movie at 1.5x speed." "translates as if his life depends on it to make the deadline"

Coming to #Mastodon kinda feels like the time I was playing #MafiaWars. You get to a point where you know enough to build a fight account without any of the mistakes...low level but super strong. Starting again blows but you have to take the long view.
