Yes my home improvent today included cardboard, tape, stuck on blinds and a dodgy only-half screwed on curtain rail.

I am still chuffed- it fills a need, I will not bake like a potato at christmas and the new year and that is enough.

Only after I finished #darning this sock did I realise how thin the fabric is right *next* to where the hole used to be. If I try to keep up I'll soon have rewoven the whole sock

I absolutely love them so I decided to perform sewing-surgery on them. I used some heavy purple cotton fleece and added a 7” extension to each leg above the cuff. They’re funny-looking now (some might say ugly) but they fit **perfectly**. The cuffs stay down around my ankles where they belong. Hooray! #Sewing #MakeDoAndMend
