I can at least blame someone else for this one, but I'm designing a #pokémon fanon region based on the #Malvinas .

The backstory is gonna need, in the least, a reference somewhere to Galar trying to invade the place in the past but being repelled by courageous fighter jet pilots... and random wild Wooloos.

...Unless someone can suggest me a better animal that's dangerous in the Malvinas that I can try to adapt.
