6th day in #Thailand. I had low expectations but I'm impressed. #Bangkok is basically #Manila but way cleaner.

If there were no Thai writings on the billboards, I'd mistake Bangkok for Manila. They have the same vibe.

But the main difference is there are no litter on the streets. They also have a clean river. I'm amazed. I wish it were the same in the #Philippines.

Wonder why it is hard to book a #Grab car at the airport? It doesn't look underpriced to me. And it's near midnight on a Sunday, so probably less traffic. I was expecting more available drivers and drivers not canceling. 🤔

The airport taxi (that's 3x the price of Grab) now looks tempting but I'm holding my ground.

Sizzling pork #sisig 🐷🍳🍚 with iced tea for 120 pesos! 😋 Pretty good. 👍 Not the traditional kind -- theirs was creamy and buttery. I was hungry and forgot to take a picture. 😁 Not as much sisig as pictured in their poster, but it was satisfying. The rest of the group were very happy with their orders too - chami, pancit, etc.

Yes, I recommend it. 😋👌

I had Strava turned on from
🏠 to #Manila
to #Calamba
to #Pateros.

I'm missing a couple of segments' data -- a couple of times I hit Stop and forgot to hit Resume when we continued riding.

The report ends in Pateros because that's where I stopped pedaling, at a safe bright spot, and hired a #GrabCar to take me and my #bike home. My body's been complaining on and off even before we got to Calamba. It's a miracle I made it that far. 🙏 See image caption for details.
