#MappingChallenge(365+1/365)
Did a 10 km ruck between #Deisenhofen and #Höllriegelskreuth. Both were well mapped except for the fire hydrants.
If someone is looking for a mapping challenge in #Munich area, one can try to map all the missing waterways around this area: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1199784017
Finished the day with closing a good chunk of local notes, ranging from Berlin to Dresden to Munich.
Summary:
- JOSM: 17

And the final day of the one year challenge is concluded with a 4.8 km ruck.
Noticed after the fact that many of the ash trees that were added might actually be Acadia, locust, or devil's walkingstick instead.
The mapping challenge will continue in a slightly different format with more news on that front on Sunday.
Summary:
- SCEE: 282
#MappingChallenge(364/365)
Cleanup some mistakes made with splitting up buildings using their parts and not including an outline.

#MappingChallenge(363/365)
Cleaning up some more notes from the previous day. I kind of am breaking one of my personal rules regarding notes as in uploading them to the database. On the other side these notes then get resolved fairly quickly over laying dormant offline on some drive.
As long as I am power mapping with SCEE and the note quality is written in such a way that any other contributor can solve it, I will continue adding notes through that route.
Summary:
- JOSM: 11
#MappingChallenge(362/365)
Started off by closing notes from the day prior. Noticed that although most buildings exist, their geometry is partially heavily skewed.
Completed the day with small 4.5 km ruck. Do enjoy adding trees on the go.
Summary:
- SCEE: 278
- JOSM: 5
#MappingChallenge(361/365)
The final 5 days will have daily rucks connected with them, so today it was 7.5 km.

#MappingChallenge(352/365)
Extended a business trip in #Berlin. Chose two waypoints and main quest of adding tree genus, which then dictated the route to the points.
Two main observations:
1. Berlin is heavily surveilled.
2. These 3 tree genus cover 80% of the quests:
- Acer (maple)
- Aesculus (horse chestnut)
- Tilia (linden)
Summary:
- SCEE: 431
#MappingChallenge(349/365)
Finally the bus was delayed enough to walk home from the train station, which gave me the opportunity to do a portion of the planned mapping route from a couple days ago. And this after doing a 20 km ruck in the city.
Summary:
- SCEE: 202
