How long before we see institions and brands migrating from Twitter and setting up shop on alternative #SocialMedia platforms like Mastodon?
I feel it's time for a big shift in how and why brands use social, with more of an emphasis on engagement and dialogue through actors other than #MarComms / #PublicRelations teams. For this we need to see a move from KPIs and profit to more mission-based reasons for using social media that focus on building #SocialValue + nurturing #CommunitiesOfPractice.
