As #Dickens put it in #HardTimes, industry is always so "fragile" that whenever we try to regulate them they scream they'll be "ruined", when all we typically ask is that they be held "accountable for the consequences of any of [their] acts."
#Regulation of the #fishing #industry, for example, tries to address consequences of their actions such as this. Is that so wrong?

This time of the year (Dec/Nov), Grey seal pups are born. Today, on the island Griend, in the Dutch Wadden Sea, we observed a mother with two pups. Very special. Both pups could be her own, or adopted.
