Ripples and megaripples, not sand dunes!
A great video by Mars Guy explaining sand dunes and ripples, and especially "megaripples", the kind of formation #Perseverence is presently examining. The surface of this megaripple contains poorly sorted pebbles and grains that are larger than the regolith underneath it, making it an "armored" megaripple.
