"We have never seen a sea cucumber’s shit or a sea urchin’s shit, even if it might be pretty. Butterfly shit, cricket shit, grasshopper shit, and the like do not feel especially filthy, but we do not really find these examples rendered in haiku, perhaps because they are much too tiny and cannot convey any ambience."
