I love this unauthorized #documentary of the #sfba #BART system, featuring beautiful golden-hour footage from a surreptitiously-attached GoPro on the front of the train, which hitched a ride from SFO to Pittsburg.

The documentary features voices from interesting people from BART’s past and present. I learned a lot about how the system came about, and how it’s run.

The ride is accompanied by the lovely, analog synth-heavy soundtrack of the game Manifold Garden, which invokes an ethereal, futuristic, Blade Runner esthetic as you glide in the first person point of view through tunnels, bridges, and open air, always following the silver tracks ahead.

Kudos to Vincent Woo for this movie. It’s breathtaking. Watch it on your 4K TV.

5. Los #Luchadores no son atletas reales/no pueden pelear en la vida real:
5.c. Yendo aún más lejos, fue un Luchador, el primer #TigerMask (#SatoruSayama), quien fundó la primerísima compañía de #ArtesMarcialesMixtas #MMA, y ha habido mucha cruza entre ambas áreas con gente como #KazuyukiFujita, #BrockLesnar, #BobbyLashley, #MinoruSuzuki, #KenShamrock, #KazushiSakuraba, #RondaRousey, #JakeHager, #DaveBautista, #AlbertoDelRio, #ShinsukeNakamura, #ShaynaBaszler, #MattRiddle y #KatsuyoriShibata, todos luchadores y practicantes de MMA.
5.d. Y por si fuera poco también están aquellos con pasado militar previo (o, en el caso de #RoadDogg, durante dicha carrera) a sus carreras como Luchadores, tales como #JesseVentura, #FreddieBlassie, #SgtSlaughter, #RandyOrton, Bobby Lashley y #LaceyEvans.

Incluso aquellos que no son exactamente atletas formados levantan el doble de su peso como trabajo y se acostumbran al dolor duradero y los golpes duros, así que cualquiera de ellos puede absorber miles de golpes y neutralizarte con uno de sus agarres «falsos». Así que si, no es una buena idea hacer enojar a un #Luchador libre si te cruzás con uno.
6. La #sangre es falsa: La sangre en la Lucha Libre es casi siempre real; es una consecuencia ocasional que no puede realmente ser evitada. Varios tipos de pelea introducen objetos que hacen que el sangrado sea más común, y los Luchadores pueden infligir heridas en sus oponentes con cuchillas cuando la cámara no los apunta. Esto último se llama «blading». No importa qué tan duro seas, poca gente tiene las agallas de cortarse a sí mismos. Sin contar que, en caso de ir un poco más profundo, pueden cortar una arteria y hacer que salga más sangre de la que debía salir, como ocurrió en el infame caso de #MassTransit. Estos días, el blading está fuertemente regulado en la #WWE, y casi nunca se usa. Si los luchadores cortan a su oponente accidentalmente (lo que significa que un momento clave fue arruinado y hubo un corte de piel), se les impone una sanción monetaria, y ni siquiera leyendas como #TripleH y #Batista están a salvo de la misma.

A fin de cuentas, la #LuchaLibreProfesional es como cualquier otra forma de entretenimiento: te gusta o no, y casi no hay matices de por medio.
