The premiere episode of #MasterChefAustralia was quite moving, given the terrible contrast between the joy of the contestants, the guest, and the judges, and the recent loss of #JockZonfrillo which took place after all the filming and editing.

I didn't know how I would feel watching it, but it does feel mostly like a tribute to Jock's life.

#MasterChefAustralia host #JockZonfrillo has died suddenly, aged 46.

As I've mentioned before, I really like Masterchef Australia, and even though, even after three seasons of the new incarnation, I'm not as fond of the new presenting team as I was of the previous one, this is still heartbreaking news. I can't imagine what his family and friends are going through.

Yay! It's #MasterchefAustralia season over here in #Belgium! Season 14. n_n

First episode felt like coming home. Just a wholesome, jolly experience with some of the loveliest people on #television

Really dig this season's concept. And it's always fun learning where old contestants have been, and how they're doing these days. ♥

Been watching #MasterchefAustralia episodes for years, but it's always the same chefs. Does it ever end? Or is it a ruse by the judges to gey fed extremely well 4 days a week forever?

Public information announcement: #MasterchefAustralia is the best of all the Masterchefs (that I've seen).

I haven't seen the first couple of seasons but other than that they've all been much better than any of the UK versions (too staid), and the US version (too mean, wayyy too mean).

I love the way the competitors are all so supportive of each other, as much as anything.

There's a NZ version that might be even better. They do have hobbits there, after all.
