Context: we had this Secret Santa in my TTRPG/artisans group. I got someone who loves fall season and Lord Of The Ring.
I made her two things. A dice bag (first try with the leaves technique, definitely room for improvement) and a dice (d20) guardian.
It wasn't supposed to be that. I bought a pattern (by Nerfherder Knits) and the pattern is great. But gosh do I hate to crochet like that. And since I did some pumpkins dice guardians lately, well I made my own.

WIP: Not perfectly placed but I'm actually impressed by myself. It's not bad at all when you deal with pain, hand tremors and double vision.
For the eyes, I burnt them. I'm still debating the idea to sew some cover on it to protect it but meh.

I feel like I did a sloppy job on the eyes and muzzle embroidery but that's okay, it makes it more authentic.
Time to do the collar with all the pompoms. Not sure if I want to do it only on the front side or both?
Also: sewing white-ish part with double vision? As hard as black.

WIP: sewing the limbs
- tip number one: use long toothpicks when you need to sew parts like footsies. They don't move that way.
- tip number two : use a pencil or fabric chalk to trace where you need to sew parts that need to be symetrical, like here the ears.

WIP: the head
- For the eyes, I always use the same trick. Magic ring, a number of single crochet or half-double crochet, place the eye in it, block the security eye and sew the rest around. Here for the lid, it's a 10 hdc in MR, part of them are hidden behind the eye.
- Securing the stuffin'. The pattern says to BLO to start the body. I suggest to FLO instead. Use the BLO to finish the head and secure the stuffin' away from the rest of the body.

So... I have a couple of hooligans at home (two 4 months old kittens) and our Christmas' tree had to be put back in its closet after too many attacks.
