If #Brutaldon is a #MastodonFork without the JS that sounds compelling, we must research when we have better internet.

The problem wrt Misskey is they use a system that is blocked by TorBrowser. Others don't, even if they use JS.

Qoto supports this feature, you can add an account to a list without having to follow it

Qoto has a quote-post feature btw, which I’m using right now to quote your post @woozle. I believe @freemo maintains his own fork of Mastodon that implements this. I rarely use it though, so I’m not sure how it’s displayed in instances that don’t support it.
