Suggestion: On Mastodon I'd like the option to view a list of all the users in the comment section of a post or even just a branch of the post with the ability to start a group conversation by selecting or unselecting users from that list, or maybe even an ability to create a group discussion on the post's topic. Mastodon needs 1) good moderators that take hate speech and discrimination seriously. Separate server admins can collectively coordinate in this effort and make the job easier. 2) a good algorithm that builds on current information (time sensitive) and collective experience, virality is a normal thing. For some coming to #Mastodon, Twitter features are what they're looking for such as a #Trending tab, better search features that not only involve hashtags, etc. I know a lot of these features take time to implement and computing resources. Time really does just fly by, doesn't it? Lord, it is February 12 and I last posted here on Dec. 29! Life offline keeps getting in the way of online life! Anyway, a brief update: blood pressure issues in Dec. caused an obsession with blood pressure, sales in our antiques business are slow thus causing an obsession with changing that. Woohoo! Thanks to the latest Mastodon 4.1.0 update, I went back and added alt-text to all the previous images I posted since I joined. The blue dotted frames helped me find each image quickly!

Thank goodness there weren't that many that slipped by me in my haste. It was worth it and I'm feeling much MUCH happier now that I know I've covered all my bases.

Now I can happily say that every image I've ever personally posted on this platform has alt-text.
