She also wrote a #biography of #Hilbert that now I really want to read

She was the sister of the very famous mathematician Julia Robinson (1st female mathematician admitted to the Nat'l Academy of Sciences, 1st female president of the American Mathematical Society) -- Reid also wrote a book about her sister!

Eric Temple Bell is the mathematician of "Bell numbers" & "Bell polynomials". He also wrote #ScienceFiction as John Taine in the early 1900s

AND he was one of the first people to write "popular math" books and do math #SciComm!
