das ist korrekt. Jedoch halt nur in "Textform" über ne bridge und nicht komplett mit "Daten" im persönlichen Sinne wie IP Adresse und co. Aber ich verstehe natürlich absolut wieso du dagegen bist. Ich hoffe ja immer noch das #Teamspeak irgendwann mal aus dem Tee kommt, und man endlich mit einem #Featureset aus diesem Jahrzehnt man was gescheites selbst hosten kann.

For #matrix I ditched the client owned and controlled by a private company and adopted #schildichat instead. The Element-based client implements interesting features and customizations, like softer notification sound which has been requested to Element since six years[1].

It feels like SchildiChat is to Element what #forgejo is to #gitea. Though the client claims to be a hobby project[2], I think it deserves better recognition.

I know the #Pine64 community is big on Bridges, so might be worth checking.

For the videos: cross posting them to a PeerTube instance (and/or a different commercial platform) might help lower the dependency on a single external corporation-owned point of failure.
