from the dec: “I have personally reviewed many of the text messages [#MayorLondonBreed ]sent to staff to remove #Unhoused people from sight. She would order us to displace unhoused people by a certain date and time just because they were in the vicinity of her planned schedule for the day. Mayor Breed ordered us to carry out sweeps because she did not want to be seen near unhoused people while she was at lunch, at the gym, at fundraisers, or at meetings on public business.”

a declaration from a former City employee involved in HSOC #StreetSweeps was filed in the federal lawsuit brought against #SanFrancisco. It details an insider account of the City’s illegal policy directed at violating the #constitutional and #HumanRights of the #homeless population in explicit service of #MayorLondonBreed ‘s political agenda to clear the streets as well as that of unnamed members of the #BoardOfSupervisors. The reality of #sfpol laid bare in the dec is damning.
