I have now come across a YouTube video on the making of #ScarecrowOfRomneyMarsh which includes clips from a Patrick #McGoohan interview, and some commentary from #BrianSibley. Reputable sources. It glosses over a few #Disney weaknesses ("Song of the South" comes to mind) but plausibly presents him as a storyteller and film-maker.
