has a very cute touch that makes me love the game just a little bit more.

Traditionally, every game has a thing where every level starts with the word "Ready" flashing on the screen and then Mega Man teleports into the scene.

In Rock 'N Roll, this message reads "Ready to Rock" or "Ready to Roll" depending on which character you're controlling. So for most of the game you pick a character and play the level with that character.

I just realised that uses a musical motif! There's a distinct motif heard in the intro stage where it sounds dangerous, in the final level where it's ominous, in the final boss fight where it sounds heroic, and in the ending where it sounds triumphant!

Dangerous because the RnR team is about to be born...

Ominous because it looks like one member of the team is captured...

Heroic because they're back together fighting simultaneously!

Finally, Rock and Roll are triumphant!
