It's so great that the A-Leagues are (finally) hosting a pride round.

However, to post about it on social media and then to not moderate the comments is negligent and disgusting. As a woman, I already question my space at these games thanks to the widespread sexism. As a queer person, the number of abusive comments makes me doubt attending any games at all.

I hate it and wish that the administrators handled it so differently - educate the fans, bring them on the journey too.

Embarrassed to be a Melbourne Victory fan tonight. A walk-out or walk-away-to-another-bay protest was the best option, and proven in multiple games this weekend already. The APL made an awful decision, and the people at aami park (not fans) made an even worse one. Embarrassing, enraging, unnecessary and unacceptable. As someone who was a part of the 2nd and 3rd biggest A-league grand finals at docklands, all I can say is that this is a bloody disgrace and Di Pietro should quit as Melbourne Victory Chairperson. Again he has shown he is more interested in his personal corporate profile than MVFC. 17 years a member and seriously considering ditching it after this betrayal.

Now that I've got some free time on my hands at work, I might as well as do the whole hashtag thing to get things started.

I play the #bassguitar , I'm really into #punkrock and #heavymetal (but I refuse to consider myself a metalhead), and I love a good #coffee (why I didn't hashtag this earlier, I'll never know). One of the reasons why I love #Nagasaki is that it's a small, walkable city like #Melbourne, but at the same time, the surrounding mountains can make several suburbs look as though I'm in the #DandenongRanges .

Sports-wise, I do follow a couple of teams. With #afl ( #AussieRules to be clear), I've been supporting St Kilda ever since I moved to Australia in 2004. As for soccer, I support both #MelbourneVictory and #celticfc .

Ok, definitely more than just a couple of teams.

I'm not much of an anime (or manga) fan now as I was in my early 20s, but there are some that I'll happily recommend. Recommendations include "Yuri on Ice", "Kuroko's Basketball", " #MyDressUpDarling ", "Free!" (with the exclamation mark), and "Super Cub". I'm also a slightly-competitive casual player of rhythm games like #Bandori and #D4DJ.

Oh, and last, but not least, I'm also a language #teacher . I'm qualified to teach beginner-level Italian and EAL (English as an Additional Language) at the lower secondary grade in my home state of Victoria, and I'm currently helping to teach English at three public schools in Nagasaki City.

That's about it for now, I guess.
