Once Sonic tried to pick up Rock. After all he just looks like some human kid. Except Sonic forgot the fact that kid is a robot & probably weighs a ton.

I had suddenly remembered Gemerl existed and had been fixed up/rebuilt a bit by Tails. I then wondered what if Tails goes the same route Wily did with Shadow.

Shadow Man in canon is rumored to be an alien robot. Being in love with Sonic/Megaman crossovers I headcanon he was originally a Gizoid that was displaced during the Argus Event.
In #MergedAU he is still a Gizoid that is rebuilt as a Robot Master, eventually ending up with Knuckles on Angel Island.
