The author of the book saved conversations from then with a friend from overseas and published them - with permission, of course. Reading them, made me fondly reminisce those times. Trouble with forums, friendships developing, focused but long messages every other day, meeting up then IRL. Nice.

It works surprisingly well considering it's using E-Mail as a backend, and especially groups are quite seemlessly implemented.
Some might call this abusing my #School provided E-Mail, I just call this exercising my right to #Privacy.
