#April was a cool, damp and dull month in Southern #England as the above provisional #MetOffice anomaly maps show (compared with 1991-2020 averages).

For my own data I still use 1981-2010 for comparison - very average April indeed!

I know we don't like Twitter being brought here normally, but I think this is pretty cool.

I posted about the February UK weather data yesterday, and I replied under the Met Office's tweet it would be interesting to know how close the monthly temperature was to breaking the record before the past few days of 'normal' values.

I had forgotten it, but in the last hour I received a reply to little me from them, who even produced a graph with it.

Very cool imo.
