I decided to make a prototype using the Quest's Native development libraries, and managed to draw some meshes and textures using #c and #cpp .
It's also using #OpenGL and will be #opensource when finished.

I got myself a #MetaQuest2 .
it's a VERY impressive device. Tracking is very accurate and can be used as a standalone platform.
I've tried a few games so far. I'm looking forward to the future of Virtual Reality.
Maybe this will convince me to port my games to it ๐

For example, we had to come up with an entirely new implementation to be able to retain the same aesthetic for the water on Quest 2 as on PC, as detailed in this video. #MetaQuest2 #GameDev
