For example, cold tolerant bacteria (psychrophiles) can be used in food production and medicine stability, because they remain active at temperatures that would freeze other bacteria.
Scientists from Uruguay and Brazil have developed a metagenomic screen model for Antarctic Pseudomonas species for use in biotechnology.

We have a Precellys bead beater but I've not tried their kits before.
