This Means That

The Hebrew language, or Hebrew thought, is vastly different from Greek (western) thinking as it is based on a symbolic/figurative language.

The Bible was written in the Hebrew language and understanding this concept is key to understanding how to read and properly interpret what the Word is saying.

The Scriptures are filled with symbolism; the entire book is written this way to convey a deeper meaning to those who will search it out. Certain words and their meanings have been lost in translation causing us to miss out on the life of the Word.

“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” (Proverbs 25:2)
