8 years ago when I moved I hear we started going to a #MexicanFood joint that offered a T-Shirt for $15 that gave you #Free #Cheese Dip every future visit. We eat there at LEAST 12-18 times a year..

Shortly thereafter they discontinued offering the shirts..they finally started offering them again... for $70 and they are only good through year end.

I'm no #investor but this shirt was like getting in early on shitcoin - still a #scam but profitable AF!

The one thing that makes eating #dinner at a relatively basic #MexicanFood restaurant is when the music slams... You know the songs..

The one with the shuffle beat,l and at random points in the song there's a guy that makes a hawk noise and then later it sounds like he's falling down a hole..

..and it's it's followed by a song with horn fills and 7 guys singing the chorus

..this unironically turns even the lamest #Mexican #Food place into my favorite outing during an average week

There is a painting of #DoobieBrothers #music legend Michael McDonald hanging in my regular #MexicanFood restaurant in #Tennessee and no one I have asked is exactly sure why...

When I first ordered Mexican #Food at a "more authentic" (not really authentic, but I was a newb) #MexicanFood #Restaurant not named #Taco Tico, I ordered a dish called the "Burrito Enamorado"

The waiter informed me that translates to "Small Donkey In Love..."

..and that has stuck with me my entire adult life...

Today’s lunch took an unexpected turn when the poblano chiles rellenos turned out to be uncharacteristically HOT. And I do mean habanero grade hot 🥵🔥

Still really tasty, but damn, didn’t expect a spicy meal today
