A small integration library for #OpenTelemetry and #JakartaEE 10: https://github.com/atbashEE/jakarta-opentelemetry. You can use it as a dependency in your application or as inspiration for your own code. It supports #JAXRS requests, JAXRS-client including the #MicroProfile rest Client, and #CDI interceptor.

Hi! I'm David/Dave (he/him/his), and I'm a #DevTools developer at Red Hat. I work on #VSCode extensions, such as #XML, #Quarkus, #MicroProfile, and recently #Java. This also involves working on #Eclipse, since vscode-java is based on Eclipse's Java features (JDT). The core features of these plugins can be reused in other editors (such as Eclipse and #neovim ) since they use the #LanguageServerProtocol.
Outside of work, I enjoy #RockClimbing, #VirtualReality, #EDM, and #Camping.

Quarkus team today announced the first milestone of the road to Quarkus 3 with the release of 3.0.0.Alpha1. Quarkus 3 will target Jakarta EE 10 and Eclipse MicroProfile 6 and is scheduled to be released during the first quarter 2023.
