Only remaining task is the summary script for the RNA counts. How should this be done ?
I do have versions of the summary scripts in both Python (pandas) and R (data.table). Should I I aim for language purity, decrease in coding time or speed (e.g. through duckdb/arrow) at this point ?

IMPORTANT PUB: Here we upend #miRNA dogma! We show up-regulation of proteins by direct action of miRNA is a common mechanism in cancer cells. We found that for ST6GAL1, which controls alpha-2,6-sialylation, miRNAs mainly upregulate the protein and glycosylation. This has important implications for miRNA research, #cancer treatments utilizing miRNA and #glycotime.
