@da_667 A related annoyance I was reminded of today is that you can't complete the #OOBE with a "work or school" account (at least not on Windows Home editions). So say you're a small business that uses #Microsoft365 and you buy off-the-shelf laptops for your staff — they all need a *personal* #MicrosoftAccount to set up the device first. And here we are trying to encourage people not to mix their home and work stuff.

In the recent time, I've tested some #Passkey 🔑 scenarios in my lab. Even it's not supported, there are some workarounds to demonstrate registration and login to #MicrosoftAccount with #Passkeys (synchronized via #iCloud Keychain) on #macOS. Keep in mind, the shown scenario is (as far as I know) not supported by Microsoft and does not work with Azure AD accounts. Nevertheless, it gives a first look how an implementation or user experience could look like. #Passkeys rocks!
