@lakelady Love #OakIsland - been following the show for about five seasons. Read the Readers Digest article everyone mentions when it first came out and it fascinated me as a youngster, was amazed to stumble on the TV show by chance decades later! Am as captivated by their historical finds as much as the search for whatever’s left in the pit; my biggest recent thrill was flying over the island in a light aqua aircraft in #MicrosoftFlightSimulator and putting it down off Smiths Cove!

Leg 108 of my Cessna's Round The World Trip in Microsoft Flight Simulator completed yesterday, from OING Gorgan, Iran to UTAA Ashgabat, Turkmenistan: it took two hours and 10 minutes and covered 242 miles. I'm dying to get the next leg done of my Cessna's Round The World Trip in Microsoft Flight Simulator, but I need over two hours to do it, and by the time I've done my daytime work chores there isn't enough time left before dinner! On Sunday I completed Leg 107 of my #Cessna's #RoundTheWorldTrip in #MicrosoftFlightSimulator: OIIE Imam Khomeini International Airport, Tehran, Iran to OING Gorgan, Iran. A 200-mile flight taking nearly two hours, on a bright, sunny day with a few scattered clouds, I passed Mount Damavand in Iran's Lar National Park along the way. Here's a screenshot of it :)

What a plane and amazing #MicrosoftFlightSimulator update (🎂)! Many more hours of flying into perspective! 🌅✈️

On the #Xbox version of #MicrosoftFlightSimulator multiplayer helicopters are appearing as private jets. So it looked funny while they were taking off from the Needles Lighthouse. The landing was tricky with the controller, but I managed it. Adding rotor trim to the pad really helped.

Ha. Sat on a runway in a glider for 15 minutes trying every control. Couldn't find any way of launching the winch. Turns out you have to waggle the rudder as a signal. #MicrosoftFlightSimulator.

I'm downloading the #MicrosoftFlightSimulator 40th Anniversary update on Xbox. But at 29GB it'll be a while before I can try it out.
