Today I painted up this classic Khorne Bloodletter model. I do enjoy painting in the retro style sometimes. There was a real charm about those old paint jobs.

Hi I need your help.

I'm looking for European (and by that I mean continental Europe) citadel /marauder second hand/ OOP model sellers or traders.

Nowadays 95% of stores/ collectors are from the UK, and Brexit + Royal Mail ransomware event have made impossible to buy from them anymore.

I'm not looking for extremely rare models, just cool goblins, runts, orcs, ogres... If you could boost this post would be great.

Last week we were talking about and sculpts coming to 3d resin printing. I've seen some models but right now those are just a few.

On the other side, some authors decided to redo old classics in the modern style.

Here’s the big guy (as someone said, I don’t finish projects, I just abandon them). Next time I’ll start by removing all the paint instead of trying to repair it.

There. warriors, 90's style.
Bases done.
I found a third square one that was "just damaged enough".
: by mixing some old light green with some new kaki (a GW base, sold with some 40K Nurgle guys) I managed to get the somewhat right colour.
Little drops of diluted brown ink + drybrushed highlights made the sand texture more visible, while keeping the vintage look of the bases.

I like them.

Yeah that's the idea. Some corrections on details for legibility, and a little more work (but still quick & dirty) on the axe, as it is an important part of that mini.
The bases? Naaaa... I'll keep them. They definitely have the Goblin Green on sand vibe. I'll just improve them a little 'cause they lack contrast.

Definitely a candidate for longest gap between buying the model and actually painting it 😂
I am speed painting my way through the WHQ box contents - only the warriors and minotaurs and any of the metal models will get a some special treatment, I’m not display painting 12 monopose snotlings, ain’t nobody got time for that

Looking for inspiration for what to paint today I had a look in my boxes of old minatures and found this guy from around 1995. The base tab says Marauder, but I'm pretty sure he's a plaguebearer, just before they had that name.
