前一部是老少配双男主。拍了有20多季，后来两位男主都换了。后一部拍了9季。男女主搭了个可爱小哥。每集一个故事，调子都相对轻快，没什么血腥猎奇黑暗的场面。就是乡下警察，上班探案，下班回家。有一些故事以两国“乡村生活”为背景。
英国的那位侦探Barnaby好像是为数不多的家庭幸福美满的。新西兰的这位警察叔叔Mike，婚恋是被调侃的内容之一 :0120: 他的搭档总是和本地的土著帅哥眉来眼去。新西兰可能演员比较少？哪家的警匪番剧不是每集换人呐，这部却有很多熟面孔翻来覆去出事儿 :8111: 。

I've been logged out of twitter, so here I am. To catch anyone up who reads this, I've watched #Shetland up to series 5 and pretending series 6 and 7 and beyond doesn't exist (sorry), i've watched all of #Broadchurch, I watched #Collision because a former friend binge watched it about 10 years ago and then I started watching #Primeval and am devestated over Nick. I'm low on shipping buddies and am still steadily working my way through #MidsomerMurders

There's something very weird about this news going out (in Germany) just as I'm researching and writing the chapter on the Bell Ringing episode. #MidsomerMurders

@Catherine_alwaysaredhead Ha! I remember marathon watching the last few seasons before netflix removed it. So good! Every episode is like a wee movie, great for filling a day. Definite 3 murder formula!

I enjoyed The Pale Blue Eye last night — a murder mystery set in 1830s West Point Military Academy and featuring a young Edgar Allan #Poe. I'm a third of the way through my "Oh, that‘s a nerdy idea, I‘m up for it - Oops, this is getting too long for blogposts"-wannabe-book. I have no idea if I'll find a publisher for it who won't let me manage a funding first. If so, I'll just use Books on Demand or so, and just look for pd illustrations.

So far: 9 chapters with 111,398 characters, or 17,389 words. And Ulysses says: 64,25 min average reading time.
