My raised beds sit on a flat garage roof. When it’s dry/drought like it has been in #Milwaukee, the only thing that a tomato plant grows is roots. I ripped the plant out last week, harvesting about 2 quartsof little yellow pear tomatoes.

Into the pot they went for stewing with romas, through the food mill for straining, and into the freezer. Trying out the first quart for pasta sauce for dinner tonight. A half of a cup of red wine helping the sweetness.

I attempted a video, but it wouldn’t be really visible. It's hot in #Milwaukee #wisconsin. In the twilight, over my neighbor's parking slab, 50 or so dragonflies are circling and feeding. A predatory dance.
