A Jay this morning in #Bath #Somerset #UK. This #bird was mimicking the call of a Buzzard, something that has frequently been observed in this species. I'ts not known for certain why they do this, but it is possible that they do it to scare off competition for food. There is frequently a Buzzard in this area, so it is probably an effective tactic.
