I've noticed this too. I figure the only real kind of prayer is a simple thanks.

My religious brother's wife once proudly told me how her kids lost their sandals at the beach and she had them pray to God that they'd find them. They found the sandals and considered it evidence that the prayers were answered. 🙄 #MissingThePoint
