@citrus_marine the closest project on fedi is #mitra which is generic #activitypub server with blockchain integrations. One of them is that you could convert a specific post to NFT, which turns it into server-less one )

SDF has the default, paltry 500 character limit per post. The only masto account I have that exceeds that is at obo .sh and they've got 5000 chsrs, but i prefer #Soapbox .Pub servers - much better than mastodon and limit is configurable. Also #Friendica, #Mitra, and #Calckey is really awesome - you can create an account here:

I think #Leo_Laporte just launched a #Fediverse server of his own recently. I'm not sure of the hostname but i gather it's under the twit.tv domain, maybe?

Anyway, hopefully it's something that allows him to publish help, tutorials, and review articles longer than the paltry 500 character count limit that some of the less feature complete server platforms are capable of.

Yes, and a company sponsored #Fediverse server instance might also be akin to a vertical silo too, in the sense that many employers want to own the copyright of anything published with tools or infra belonging to them.

There's no need to do this at all though. Launch your own, say for example, #Soapbox or #Mitra server as a single instance or apply CC-BY -SA (or ND) licenses to your articles.

Why don't you either stop posting reverse chronological hellthreads or switch to a #Fediverse server that is actually capable of accommodating charscter counts greater than the paltry 500 that MastoPub permits?

Suella Braverman’s actions are far more aligned with the Myanmar approach than the western approach #buddhism. I wonder if #triratna are really happy having her as a #Mitra it must be presenting them with some #philosophical and #ethical dilemmas. She publicly contradicts their organisational values while presenting exactly the challenge members need to grow spiritually, the task of developing compassion for those you find most difficult in life. She is both useful and harmful at the same time.
