The fact that there is a mobile bracket doesn't scare me. The fact that there are vehicles that have enough space under the dash to mount it like it's a 1975 CB does.

My preferred method is to skip to the end and just carry around a brick. Attaching a message to it and throwing it is a pretty effective way of communicating, provided the recipient is using windows.
