Today at #MoffittCancerCenter: Mark Robertson Tessi, working with @sandy discusses all the hard work they and others have put into the Evolutionary Tumor Board. Their vision is that #MathOnco models and clinical data will be used in these boards to directly guide treatment for cancer patients

I am a professor at the #MoffittCancerCenter located in beautiful Tampa Bay. I am dedicated to cancer research and specifically understanding and treating malignancies that grow In the skeleton and have become #cancer #resistant. I am privileged to work with an exceptional team #lynchlab and collaborators from clinical to basic to pop to mathematical sciences #cancerevo @david. #ScienceMastodon

Time for an #introduction:
I am an associate professor at the #MoffittCancerCenter in Florida. My group #CancerEvo and I are interested in #CancerEvolution and #CancerEcology and how those impact the #evolution of #cancer #resistance to #treatment. We do that by working very closely with cancer #biologists and clinicians using #math #mathonco models.

I am also married to the lovely @pbiwan. A #neuroscientist and #scicomm professional whom I help with the #2Scientist podcast
