The remaining #Russian presence in #transnistria - which I visited in 2014 - looks remarkably anomalous these days - wedged between #ukraine and the rest of #moldova . Cannot see any point in them staying there although the #russian soldiers still there may be rather grateful not to be in a combat zone!
