The Transition in the Monk & Robot books is interesting as much for what is not in the book as what is in the book. Mainly how the Transition happened. Who had to move? How? It paints a somewhat pretty picture of the long term effect and recovery from the Factory Age but how to get there? Raises questions for current concepts like 1/2 Earth.
