For example, I genuinely believe my Monsal Trail guide to be the best available out there, but it has precious few links pointing to it.

Frustrating: When you Google "Monsal Trail", my route guide is in 12th place. I honestly believe it deserves to rank higher.
Please will you look at all the sites that rank above it, then at my guide & tell me what you prefer about the others?

Made my first visit to the in yesterday.

Very different to the tunnels on the . Well worth a visit if you enjoy this sort of thing.

I could have stayed in there all day trying to do them justice. Needless to say, I'll be heading back there before too long!

Well it’s snowing outside, so to remind us of warmer days here’s a video of a summer cargo bike ride with our elderly Wheaten Terrier Alfie along the Monsal Trail in the Derbyshire Peak District. It is an 8.5 mile traffic free route from Blackwell Mill near Buxton to Bakewell following a section of the former Midland Railway's London to Manchester route.

This one is called Recycling History.

I've made a few trips to these old tunnels on the in the over the years. I find it very difficult to do them justice. If you can, go and experience them for yourself.

(I believe this one is the tunnel? It's right by the viaduct.)
