I'm sure Peter Grant is meant to be a smidge younger than me (I'm 44, and was 33 when this was published). Yet, in the last few pages, he's described an interviewee as wearing "mauve slacks" and referred to the female manager of a lingerie shop as the "manageress". Seems a tad unlikely.
